Kids love woodworking. As Wilber Pan recently wrote all you need is to hand a kid a tool, a piece of wood and watch them have a blast. I recently carved out a space in my shop for the kids, hung their tools on the wall and made some workbenches. The last 2 days they have played for over an hour in there, basically by themselves, each at their own bench – practicing cutting, painting, clamping, whatever. It’s awesome. Get your kid, your niece or nephew, the neighbors kids, church kids, boy scouts – whoever – into the shop with you. Guaranteed to spark some interest and have a lot of fun.
